Deutsch: Soldaten der U.S. Army, die der 7th Transportation Brigade (Expeditionary) zugeteilt sind, und Matrosen der MV Roy P. Benavidez montieren die „Roll-On” (Roll-Off Distribution Facility, RRDF) – eine schwimmende Anlegestelle vor der Küste des Gazastreifens zur Unterstützung der Operation „Neptune Solace” (26. April 2024). Die temporäre Anlegestelle wird die US-Behörde für internationale Entwicklung bei der Lieferung humanitärer Hilfe an die Bevölkerung des Gazastreifens unterstützen, wodurch die Menge und der Fluss der humanitären Hilfe, einschließlich Lebensmittel, Wasser, Medikamente und Notunterkünfte, erhöht werden soll. English: U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 7th Transportation Brigade (Expeditionary) and Sailors attached to the MV Roy P. Benavidez assemble the Roll-On, Roll-Off Distribution Facility (RRDF), or floating pier, off the shore of Gaza in support of Operation Neptune Solace, April 26, 2024. The temporary pier will assist the United States Agency for International Development in the delivery of humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza, which will increase the quantity and flow of humanitarian aid, including food, water, medicine, and temporary shelters.
